Under lilac songs all of Heaven was in one little bird
The dream pangs never cease
The song must be heard
My darkness at close of day is incidental.
Following a misted path we seek starry spirits
The wisdom of all eternal creatures
bubbles up from the Venus lit horizon
I will leave my shell on the beach.
I will find a boat I can drift over my days in
The water around me swirling the fathoms of sea foam
Sun spray dappling my oaken hull as I dream.
I feel all of heaven in the smallest thing.
